Darwin Award Winner

Georgia Tech computer science graduate student from Iran Saamer Akhshabi died at Grady Memorial Hospital March 6 from 3rd degree burns over 90% of his body...Friends said Akhshabi was a computer genius and a perfect student who was set to earn his Masters Degree with honors in May....

Police searched Akhshabi's apartment and found over 20 gasoline Molotov Cocktails with rags stuffed in the openings....Police were unsure what the purpose of the fuel bombs ultimately was to be but suspect one of Akhshabi's cocktails blew up and caught him on fire when he tried to light a cigarette....

Police say no other residents were in danger....REALLY!!!....

I guess computer school doesn't teach folks that gas fumes explode....In Akhshabi's case things seemed to have turned out quite well for us all when means met end.....:75:

I live just north of Atlanta. Georgia Tech! Man, that's getting close. University of Georgia Bulldog fans could have a field day with this. And Tech is supposed to have smarter students than UGA, but no one there has burned themselves to a cinder.:p
