It is a Kahr CW380 with only 150 rounds of factory target loads. I have the slide back and locked.

Can someone help me identify if this line is normal or if it is a crack (defect)?

I am guessing it is the striker block or spacer?

I just checked my cm9 and it has a little line in the exact same spot. I don't have any gap like yours, but my opinion is that it is normal.

My CW380 and CM9 both have a line there, but no seperation.

Seems to be normal then I guess. Thanks for the replies!

I will email tech support the same question and picture for final word.

Its a mold line, My CW380 has the same, I took to sanding it down a bit and polishing it. It still has an indent in the same place as yours which really sucks because you can feel it in the trigger.

I don't have the gun, but it sure looks like a flaw in the part involved. I think Kahr needs to look at that picture. I would contact warranty service for their opinion.

Great picture quality Firewire. Focus is perfect.

Every time one of you guys notice something I'm forced to take my gun down to inspect it. I've done it so many times now that I can do it in my sleep. The slide is so butter smooth that I can rack it with just one hand and a flick of my wrist. I wish you guys would just close your eyes and shoot the fokker like you stole it. That's how Jocko shoots those impressive one shot groups. :)

I sent the pic and email. Here was the response:

Hello,

Thank you for purchasing a Kahr Arms/Auto Ordnance product. This line on
the striker block is a molding seam line form the casting process. This
should not effect the functionality of your firearm.

Thanks,

for damn sure if urs have the same thing then it is a normal casatine mark. I have never looked at mine but IMO it is not a crack bein zamboni said his has it to. Shoot the fokker like u stole it and forget abou8t that.:Amflag2:
