Look here: http://www.kahr.com/Pistols/Kahr-K9.asp
And here, http://www.kahr.com/Pistols/Kahr-K9-Elite.asp
Read the Elite 2003 paragraph for differances.

Do they have the same trigger?
Excellent question. Not so long ago the answer was no. Recently Kahr began making all K9s standard with the same trigger found in all the other regular Kahr pistols. A new K9 should have the same trigger as a 2003 Elite K9. Having said that; in my limited experience, the upscale Kahrs have a smoother, more refined feel to them. Do they get extra attention? I'm not sure, but my guess is yes.

+1
I only have experience with a MK40 03 Elite.
But I've got 15 handguns and have shot many more.
IMHO Kahr Elite equals a trip to the custom shop.
Fit and finish, melted treatment, it's worth every penny.
