Anyone have one of these? Kahr 9mm mag w/metal follower, 6rd. Just wondering, because I have never seen another one.

It's a good place to take pics. The mag came with my new MK9, the 7 rd. had a plastic follower. Trying to figure it out. MFG. 2001

I guess I'm the only one on the planet with one of these. Maybe it's worth millions.;)

You got me curious, so I checked my MK40. Nope, both are plastic. It's still a great pistol though.

I'm wondering if it's a Kahr mag with an off brand follower. Could be someone attempt to make the gun feed more reliably or a replacement for a broken polymer follower. I don't think that it came that way from Kahr. It could also be a prototype that somehow escaped the factory. That follower is damn near as odd looking as Jocko! :)

I read somewhere that some older mags manufactured by Kahr had metal followers and they were changed to plastic as a cost savings. Don't remember where I read it, but there are probably a lot more of them out there.

I have two of them. Came with a MK9 purchased in the late 1990's. Both 6 round.

No, gonna hang on to them. No problems with broken followers as they are steel.

Looks like a metal top cut down to work on top of stock plastic follower under it.
