Do you think I should deburr some of the rough interior burrs inside the slide? I think this is one of the TLC differences between these C model ones and the P series. What ya think?

It isn't necessary, but it's your gun, so do as you please. The technical support section is for help on website issues not gun issued. The Kahr Tech section is for gun related questions.

I wonder after shooting my PM9 for awhile if these rail burrs are not what is rubbing my front rails? I have them lubed them but they appear to have some slight wear starting.

Can't hurt anything unless you go crazy with it. Personally, I broke but didn't necessarily chamfer all the sharp edges on my Kahrs.

no difference in the c or P frames as far as quality goes. If ur referrinbg to the polymer rails. u can if u desire just take some 600+ rip paper and smoth um out or just leave um along and the slide will wear off those hghg spots. those rails don't dop jack sh!t once the slid eis on thegun, so IMO leave well enoughalong No less quality in the c or P polymer frames. put that out of ur mind. that is not how kahr does things. All those polymer rals do is act as a guide to put the slide on correctly. Ihave seen some real ****** polymer rails that was ower error by not putting the slide o right. Remember the slide is stainless and if not put o properly, it will cut or groove those polmer rails and then we blame kahr for that.

If it ani't broke don't fix it. Kahrs get smoother every round and alot of that is the metal slide wearng down those high spots on the polymer rails, that are really not supposed to touch the slide when the slide is on thegun but we know that some do, for awhile..:Amflag2:

My PMJ9 has over 32K rounds thrugh it and has been apart no less than j200 times at lease, There is not a wear mark on the polymer rails. nor is that a groove in the rails buy incorrect installing of the slide either..

How would the slide be incorrectly put on? Are you talking about when you jam the slide up by installing the release pin wrong?

I also soften any sharp edges and remove any burs I find on a new handgun.

If u don't slide the slide on straight and at an angle, that steel slide rails are gonna groovbe up the front of the polymer guide rails. Wont hurt anything but might look like sh!t. Pople want to blame kahr for that but that is how the front of those polymer rails get damaged:Amflag2:

What's all of this talk about side burns. I trimmed my side burns when Elvis died outta respect for the dead. They were of the mutton chop variety. What that? Slide burrs you say. Never mind.
