I had put about 150 flawless rounds through her when she started doing something weird. I would pull the trigger and hear a softer click than you would when dry firing. Then without partially racking the slide to recock her it would shoot normally. This kept on happening until it was doing it every third round or so. I would pull the trigger, not feel as much poundage on the trigger pull and hear a soft thud, immediately pull the trigger again, feel normal resistance and it would fire normally. Any ideas?

I had erratic soft strikes with my PM45 and along with that, once in a while I would chamber a round and them try to fire, but the trigger could travel fully to the rear without firing. When I let the trigger go back forward, it would work and fire with the next pull.
When it started doing that, back to Kahr for the second time. They replaced the slide, the trigger bar, and the recoil spring assembly(the second time). The gun is fine now, but the new slide's scroll logo and name on the left side are really light strikes or rolls. It's hard to read and not well-relieved like the original slide.<sigh>
That's cosmetic, but it detracts from the gun's looks.
By itself and without a magazine, it's hard to tell if it's the PM45 or the PM9 "stepchild"... usurped by the PM45 -- Boomer.:D

Maybe someone else can come up with a better idea or has had your symptoms(?)

need to call kahr and ask for IAN. My bet is that they will replace the trigger bar, which is a tad out of spec and causing sporadic light strikes. Not something tha tyou can fix in house. They made it, let them fix it. There turn around service is great, let them know in writing exactly whqat is going on also. IMO u have a bad trigger bar, certainly IMO it is related to the trigger system, nothing in the slide IMO that is causing that...

PM sent also.
