Buying anything like that and leaving an electronic or manual trail... leaves you on lists that can be seized... physically, or electronically! Even a cash purchase at a gun show could be "monitored'.

Just another example of the Obama administration thinking that it's above the law.

Here is what I wanna know: when will ATF officers, LEO's, etc. say "No, I'm not gonna do that."? What will it take?
This is a dispute over business practices. No one was robbed or murdered or anything. Send Ares a subpoena, take them to court, arrest them, whatever... but don't just go in there and TAKE what they refuse to give and (arguably) have a right not to provide. And put people in harms way in the process.
Over-reaching is the new normal.

Well you just outlined the rub that is going on there. Welcome to Kalifornia. This is a clear over reach. A judge granted an injunction until more information was obtained regarding the ATF's methods but the ATF didn't heed it. The state nor city is backing this guy at all. I have no idea what Calguns is doing about this. I went to the website to check..... Nor have I heard the NRA speaking out about this. Funny the NRA speaks a lot every month in my email and phone calls asking for more money. If I am wrong on these last two points please direct me in the right path. I wrote the city council, and their Rep Darrel Issa (R)

That's what I fear the most: that some officers -- who really know better -- will bash my door in and start another Ruby Ridge in my living room just because they don't want to lose their jobs and are following orders from some power hungry sadist's agenda...
If there is no one to carry out the orders, the power mongers are harmless.
Stand up for your principles LEO's, agents, military...do what is right.

These young kids, that are lucky enough to have gotten their job, are being para military trained and brainwashed at the same time. I have little doubt that they will follow orders to the "T"
Right wrong or indifferent.

Of course they will. It's happening already. If we believe otherwise, we're living in a fantasy.

EggZactly. It's only a matter of time. They are just waiting out the older patriotic folks (die, retire, etc) and will continue the assault on the Constitution. Push will come to shove eventually. Not enough people home schooling and private schooling to save the country at this point.

California congressman asks ATF what they intend to do with the customer records that were seized in the raid.
