I'm taking a Handgun 101 course here in Tx in May, and we need 3 mags total. Going to be blasting 400 rounds that day. Went to my local GT Distributers which is a great shop here in Austin, and they are listed for 35 dollars, but out of stock now. I'm wanting the stock flush fitting ones like the gun came with. Any recommendations as the best place to buy? I havent had any issues with my follower on current mag that has roughly 350 flawless rounds through. Any help would be great. Thanks

definitely stick with the cm9 flushg fit mags. If a dealer has them makred MK 6 round, they are the same or PM9 6 round they are all the same mags.

Good to seeur takine that course, just go into it to learn, as u jdon't have a race gun, u have a personal protection gun, so don't try to run with the big guns that might be there. Just shoot it likeu stole it, enjoy the course and indeed LEARN. U paid for the course, so they ar enot gonna kick u out for being alittle slow in doing someof the gun stuff either. BE SAFE #1.

Thanks Jocko, Looking forward to this class with Combative weapon solution. Its a "reality based weapons training" and have heard great things about this guy. So any recommendations with an online supply? And whats going rate for these? Just bought the gun a couple months back. Thanks again

Grabagun.com has them in stock for $26.69; both 6 and 7 round capacity. Quick turnaround. They also have good prices on most of their handguns including Kahrs.

mauidiver: you will have to also pay sales tax as they are a Texas company but it still comes out cheaper than I found anywhere.

I just talked with the instructor of my upcoming class, and he said be ready to shoot the heck out of your gun. He said this will definitely push your handgun to its limits. Maybe even buy 4 mags. EEK!! They will be rapid firing a lot he said. I know I will be slower then most, but not going to rent one of his guns. I want to use the gun I carry. He just said don't worry, just do the best you can. At least I will save a little on rounds, as I'm only buying 2, 6 round mags. Looks like grab a gun site has best price on mags. Getting pumped thinking about it. But 400 rounds in a few hours is gonna sting. Hope she holds up!!

If you NEED three, you should have FOUR, at least! Things break or get lost!

400 is a "bunch" of rounds in one sitting! Might think about purchasing Pacmayr grip sleeve (~10 bucks) for that outing. Pain to put on, but helps after a long day on the range. Have fun.

PS: 'a'ole pilikia!

Just a FYI during the firearm panic of last year Midway and Brownell's did not raise their prices. Cheaper than Dirt were opportunists and did not support our sport or lifestyle.

Would never support those guys ever!!! But thanks for the help. Nothing personal.

Also, i talked with the instructor and told him I would be using the Kahr, and he said its gonna be tough to keep up. But I really want to get to know my gun. He also said i could rent one of his. So at least i will have a back up plan. Just want to get confidence in my carry Pistol. Anyone ever take one of these classes with their Kahr? Thanks agin for all your help guys.

Very true. I used to buy from them but will not use them anymore because of this.
