Just in time, I didn't forget. I almost forgot because I kept reminding myself not to forget, then several members reminded me so I reminded myself not to forget some more which seemed to make me seem to forget.
But alas I didn't forget so all is well.

I think.

Good clean fun stuff, thread jacking encouraged. Civility and niceness required. Jocko and Muggsy, just to the best you can, I know it's a challenge for ya.:)

I just got back from the range, sighting in my new to me Marlin Lever Action 45-70.
Man that is a sweet shooter. The iron sights were dead on at 100 yards.
My brother gave me a real good deal on it, it's not something he was going to get much use out of.

New tires suppose to be here tomorrow, couldn't have got here today and made life simple. Noooooooo, punishment for all the sins of my earlier life.

On a different vein, this past Sunday I took possession of my own Walther PPK/S, a 30 year old Interarms model. So today I made a quick trip to the range during my lunch break to check it out. It worked perfectly, so I think I'm going to enjoy having a second pistol to carry around if ever I need one.

And to top it off my secretary received her CWP in the mail today. So tomorrow she will take possession of her Bersa Thunder .380 ... and the US will have one more new gun owner to have to deal with.

I don't know if this link works, son in law did it on facebook. I was able to see it and I don't do facebook so maybe so.

Remember in addition to being fat I'm also deaf and color blind so I'm not really as dumb as I look.

The occasion was my daughter revealing the sex of our forthcoming grandbaby.

Son in Laws family lives in North Carolina, they all guessed correctly, all of us guess WRONG. I told them I didn't really care for sex, go for healthy, ya know 5 fingers, 5 toes, a nose, two eyes and all that stuff.

Never heard of this cupcake stuffing deal before but I guess now days everybody does it. When we had kids we chose to be surprised.

Bawanna

The stork is urban legend. Babies are caused by airport toilet seats. I've studied the phenomenon for many years. All 3 of my kids were the product of the toilet seats. Not the ones in the planes near as I can tell but the airport.

We'd pick somebody up or drop someone off and the wife would have to go tinkle, about a year later slam a jamma, another tax write off.

After the third one when she had to go tinkle I told her to hold it, we'd stop at a gas station. Nothing since.

Had a friend, his kids were like 13, took somebody to the airport, I asked if his wife went tinkle and he thought she did, told him to get the nursery ready, he said no way. Slam a jamma, baby shower time!

I don't make this stuff up. It's science.

GARDEN SNAKES CAN BE DANGEROUS...

Snakes also known as Garter Snakes (Thamnophissirtalis) can be dangerous Yes, grass snakes, not rattlesnakes. Here's why.

A couple in Sweetwater, Texas, had a lot of potted plants. During a recent cold spell, the wife was bringing a lot of them indoors to protect them from a possible freeze.

It turned out that a little green garden grass snake was hidden in one of the plants. When it had warmed up, it slithered out and the wife saw it go under the sofa.

She let out a very loud scream.

The husband (who was taking a shower) ran out into the living room naked to see what the problem was. She told him there was a snake under the sofa.

He got down on the floor on his hands and knees to look for it. About that time the family dog came and cold-nosed him on the behind. He thought the snake had bitten him, so he screamed and fell over on the floor.

His wife thought he had had a heart attack, so she covered him up, told him to lie still and called an ambulance.

The attendants rushed in, would not listen to his protests, loaded him on the stretcher, and started carrying him out.

About that time, the snake came out from under the sofa and the Emergency Medical Technician saw it and dropped his end of the stretcher. That's when the man broke his leg and why he is still in the hospital.

The wife still had the problem of the snake in the house, so she called on a neighbor who volunteered to capture the snake. He armed himself with a rolled-up newspaper and began poking under the couch.. Soon he decided it was gone and told the woman, who sat down on the sofa in relief.

But while relaxing, her hand dangled in between the cushions, where she felt the snake wriggling around. She screamed and fainted, the snake rushed back under the sofa.

The neighbor man, seeing her lying there passed out, tried to use CPR to revive her.

The neighbor's wife, who had just returned from shopping at the grocery store, saw her husband's mouth on the woman's mouth and slammed her husband in the back of the head with a bag of canned goods, knocking him out and cutting his scalp to a point where it needed stitches.

The noise woke the woman from her dead faint and she saw her neighbor lying on the floor with his wife bending over him, so she assumed that the snake had bitten him. She went to the kitchen and got a small bottle of whiskey, and began pouring it down the man's throat.

By now, the police had arrived.
Breathe here...

They saw the unconscious man, smelled the whiskey, and assumed that a drunken fight had occurred. They were about to arrest them all, when the women tried to explain how it all happened over a little garden snake!

The police called an ambulance, which took away the neighbor and his sobbing wife.

Now, the little snake again crawled out from under the sofa and one of the policemen drew his gun and fired at it. He missed the snake and hit the leg of the end table. The table fell over, the lamp on it shattered and, as the bulb broke, it started a fire in the drapes.

The other policeman tried to beat out the flames, and fell through the window into the yard on top of the family dog who, startled, jumped out and raced into the street, where an oncoming car swerved to avoid it and smashed into the parked police car.

Meanwhile, neighbors saw the burning drapes and called in the fire department. The firemen had started raising the fire ladder when they were halfway down the street. The rising ladder tore out the overhead wires, put out the power, and disconnected the telephones in a ten-square city block area (but they did get the house fire out).

Time passed! Both men were discharged from the hospital, the house was repaired, the dog came home, the police acquired a new car and all was right with their world.

A while later they were watching TV and the weatherman announced a cold snap for that night. The wife asked her husband if he thought they should bring in their plants for the night.

And that's when he shot her

I got this in an email today. My niece that lives in Washington not too far from Bawannas place made this at elementary school. I told my sister that when my niece grows up she needs to go into politics. I think she made this on tax day.

They're in Snoqualmie I think. It's funny, I have more family members in your state than any other one and I've never been there. Son is on Whidbey, then there is sister, bro in law, niece, and nephew out there. Then have a brother that's on the west coast living in the land of fruits and nuts, son on east coast, and parents in another state. Only me, wife and daughter live here now.

I really need a place with some big hills and lots of freedom for a good price. May do that in the next few years. It getting where there are too many "zombies" around here.

Snoqualmie is only about half hour away. Right in the neighborhood.

Whidbey isn't far either, 45 minutes and a ferry ride.

You a realtor Alfonse?

I'm still dreaming of living on your side of the mountain some day. Don't know that it will ever happen but something to wish for.

I guess my bud officer that used to work here and went to work for Chelan County is getting a Medal of Honor, pulled a couple people out of a house fire. He really digs it over there.

A sgt here is getting one at the same ceremony down in Olympia for wrestling a guy off the railroad tracks right as a train came by, a very close thing.

Don't know if I'll get down to watch or not.

You all get a break from my crazy posts for a day or two. I have to replace the system drive on my Computer, and do some maintenance on it while it's apart. Then reload Windows, and get the data from my backups.
Dang!!! I can hear the cheering from here. :D
No, I'm not going to stretch it out to a week or more. (I hope)
Enjoy my absence. :)

Your friend made the news, the newspaper, radio, etc. They said it was the second time he did something like that. It isn't hard to make the news around here, but his was pretty cool news.

I have land, and can sell it too. You probably ought to come have a look. I can introduce you to the sheriff too if you like. It could just change your location.

He's a good guy, none better.

My daughter just bought a house over here and we got the granddaughter on the way. I doubt for at least a couple more years I could pry the wife away.
She always advocated moving east. We've always aimed further east and only the last couple years I started thinking of your area. Kind of happy medium, not too far from over here and much closer to further east.

Still have all the amenities but better quality people. The only downfall is the influx of visitors (like me) in the summer time.

My bud over there says in winter time 1 or 2 officers could handle it all easily. In the summer time they could use 50 and not keep up.

Back in the late 70's I spent many a night on the High School football field track. We could never quite make the state park before they closed. We went over on motorcycles. First trip a cop in town told us to just go there and hit the park in the morning.
Went to sleep alone and woke up with about 30 people all around us.

OMG! The last day of April... and Federal Payday!

This is hilarious and I thought I would share... what an "ending"! http://www.kahrtalk.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7990&stc=1&d=1363707220

This is the LONG version 2:19. You can jump to 1:45 or so. It takes her a while to "booty up" to the fence.

I actually mostly stay a bit upscale in Herndon, right off the Dulles access road . Not even other than the very occasional hooker at the bar.
