Does this spell trouble for Kahr Arms?

That is a weird ruling by atf. Anyone can take a grinder and remove the sn from a metal weapon.

I bet the ATF rule won't hold up to scrutiny. I thought it was a crime to possess a modern weapon without a sn.

Guess I don't have a criminal mind.

IIRC, if it's made and sold only in one state, it doesn't need a s/n. Something like that?

As for the Kahr s/n plate, the Bat Fee can kma.

At this point I think we are seeing the early steps of Obama's promised use of executive powers to circumvent Congress on gun control. He has ordered the various departments to find ways to use their powers to impose bans on ammunition and firearms. For example, the ATF suddenly decides military surplus 5.45x39 ammunition is armor piercing, despite having been imported for many years in vast quantities. Now perhaps polymer guns can be declared illegal if one can pry off the serial number plate. How many firearms is that? A vast number. We have the EPA attacking lead ammunition. State Department wanting to cut off Russian trade with the United States, and what do they sell us in quantity besides guns, ammo, and vodka? It is just getting started I am afraid.

Glocks would be illegal then. Police forces will be disarmed.

I think you are allowed to build a firearm for your own use with no serial number. The gun must remain in your possession and can not be sold or given away. From what I understand. I looked it up while checking out those 80% lowers for an AR that don't have serial numbers on them.

Oh goodness John. Are you forgetting military, police and anyone else who contributes to Ovomit are exempt? Maybe unions next?

I think that it's high time for the federal government to get out of the gun regulating business. Since they got into it not one killing has been prevented and they've created one hell of an underground market. It's like everything else that the federal government gets involved with. F'ed up.

They forgot to exempt the police in NY, but the unions will take care of it all.

Heck yeah. They think legalizing marijuana is gonna be a real problem solver and it's a better world to let boys marry boys and girls marry girls and jocko marry sheep when they back into him.

Lets legalize guns! Eliminate the underground market. Sheesh, I started to say black market, how terribly un PC of me. I apologize.

Use protection as I did. I don't know if my safe is male or female... or if I even covered the right "appendage", but we haven't had any danged safe boxes or whatever popping up... or out!
