...I want it" is something I've heard at least a hundred times from my son.


The PM9 has been my EDC, backup and off duty since November '02, so this wasn't likely to happen. He thoroughly enjoys shooting it and has been looking for a pocket nine of his own. Yesterday he took the plunge and bought a CM9. We're now a "two Kahr" family. Excited doesn't even come close to describing his anticipation of getting to the range, and I'm looking forward to going with him.


An added bonus was the arrival of UPS this afternoon with five 50 round boxes of Speer 124 grain +P GDHP.

I wouldn't waste that Gold Dot at the range. Keep it for self defense.

Went to the range today. He put 135 rounds through the CM. PMC Bronze 115 grain FMJ, Aguila 124 grain FMJ and Speer 124 grain +P GDHP. Function was flawless. He did however experience a broken follower in his magazine. Luckily, Dad happens to have a few extra magazines that aren't currently being utilized. A quick call to Kahr Customer Service and a new follower is enroute. No problem. Very satisfying to see his excitement come to fruition. :D


Wish I could say the same for my newly acquired Glock 26 Gen 4. Disappointing doesn't come close to describe the function and performance that was experienced. I had to put 50 rounds through my PM9 just to leave the range in a halfway tolerable frame of mind.:mad:
