Got mine today and just got done lubing it per the chart from here. polished the feed ramp some. Little tricky disassembling/assembling but got it done. Man was she dry and hard to rack right out of the box. Much better now. Thanks for the tips in the new member section-they were very helpful. Now to see if the Warden will allocate me some time off for good behavior this weekend.:) Forgot to add I have a Foxx Trapp holster and Traction Grips also coming for it.

welcome aboard. keep ur sessions short. don't rush into the 200 rounds . 50-100 should suffice to get the feel of the gun. It will only get smoother with more rounds but a shooter often ets tied caus ehe is enjoying himself and then that is when things happen and the gun gets blamed for a tire dshgooter. shoot close, keep urself at 7 yards and under, try POA sooting, do't worrty if ur shooting all over the place. Kahrs are not easy to mastr due to the looooong trigger system. Accept it ofr what it was designed for and IMO it was not designed to hit beer cans at 25 yaards but to keep u safe at 10 yards and under. My targetof choice is the FBI "q" TARGETSHAPELD LIKE TE OUTLINE OF A BOWLING PIN. iT IS HUMAN TORSO TYPE SHAPED, NO BULLS EYE. kEE P UM all in there at 7 yards and ur good to go. lows and left groups are also typical if ur a righty to, it ain't the sites.

p8tting a half dozen snap caps in a mix of 30 ruonds and letting a friend load ur magazine will certainly show ur shooting ills real fast to.

Good people here so ask questions..Pointblqank being new here has impressed me with his professional comments...

Welcome to KahrTalk!

Your CM9 will make a great SD carry gun. I think you made a good choice in a holster for the gun.

I really love mine but it was just the opposite mine had oil everywhere and the feed ramp was polished already. I did the clean and lube and racked and dry fired it with snap caps over 250 time the first night getting use to the trigger. It is smooth as silk and shoots great!
