Started carrying my new Remora and practicing draw, etc. I had previously added velcro loop strips between the slide serrations of my cw9. The velcro strips really protect fingers from those sharp edges. This was a mod I posted in another thread regarding that issue. Anyway, it's not a good idea to use those velcro strips with a Remora. Every time I pull the pistol out of my pants the entire holster comes with it because the Remora and velcro stick like glue. I'm not sure if that will be a problem for others who used 3M tape or skateboard tape, but velcro sure ain't the solution for sharp serrations.:o
Sooooo, the velcro (not the Remora) has got to go!:p

As I stated in your other thread; The 3M vinyl tape will not stick to your holster, however the tape with the grit will stick to it.
Good luck :D:D

How often do you rack the slide for this to be a problem? The only time that I rack the slide is to chamber the first round after I clean the gun. One would think that a glove would suffice for a once a week event. Am I missing something here?

Me too, when I'm at the range, etc., but I have been racking it a lot while watching TV and dry firing the lamp shade at the end of the room :)to soften up the recoil spring. I know that's not as good as the real thing, but I've only got around 250 rounds thru it so far. I'm not the only one who has brought up the sharp slide serrations and suggested fixes. :yo:
