Hello :

I am local to the great PNW home of the Seahawks. I have my first Kahr the cw 9 . I followed the new gun break in outlined in the forum and ran off 200 rounds of Winchester value pack ammo

No problems, misfires, stovepiping etc. It all good.
A well made CC semiautomatic. I also fired off 100 rounds of Herters in my LCR. The little kahr is so much more fun to shoot the LCR hurts after 50 or so rounds.

Well we're all happy puppies hearing this news.

Excellent report and I'm glad your liking your new CW9.

I must say that I've never viewed my first range trip with a new pistol as a "dreaded" event. I'm usually as excited as puppy. Wipe it down, a little lube and a lot of ammo is all you need. Nothing to fear.

For some reason Kahr seems afflicted by the rumor mill more than most. The quality was excellent compared to my Glocks and springfields. A lot
If attention to detail. I had stayed away as I was told several times someone new someone that had one that was nothing but problems. So I stayed away. I am glad I picked one up.

Just ' bout the action Boss...

Suspect its commercial jealousy. The CW380 is a danger to the market for all the other pocket 380s. The P380 has been the best of class for some time but was significantly more expensive.

Now the CW380 is the same gun in every important way but priced like the competition. The market for the others (including the expensive P380) has fallen off while Kahr can't keep up with demand for the CW380. I believe that pressure may have caused more QC and customer service problems than usual and allowed competitors to harp, but that's already smoothing out.

I hate to say this, but some gun owners are just anal retentive. We live in a world where people expect instant gratification. When things don't go as they think they should they simply don't know how to handle it. Most of them see perfection in themselves. Were all flawed in some regard. Except for Jocko. He's flawed in every regard. :)

What do you think about the colt Mustang .380 or the sig.

The P238 is great.
