Is it normal for the PM9 frame to bow out a bit towards the front of the frame?

Shoots great - just out the first 300 rounds through. 2 FTF in first few mags then all good.

Mine bows out sometimes too. Today, after about 150 rounds, after cleaning the gun, the slide wouldn't go back on. Looks like the right front rail started coming out of the polymer a bit. I used a needle nose and pressed it back. Should I be worried?

That would worry me enough to give Kahr a phone call in the morning.

What appears to be a bow in the polymer frame is as designed and normal. The frame rails being loose isn't normal. Don't shoot the Fokker like you stole it. Call Kahr Service asap.

That's sound advice from Jimmy10mm and muggsy. The front rails in Kahr poly pistols are a single unit. If you can move a single rail, I'd suspect there's some damage/failure involved.

I believe I mis-spoke. There appears to be a bend in the right rail that was keeping it from fitting well into the slot in the front of the slide when putting the slide back on.

I have tried to show in this photo the area I'm talking about. When I took a macro photo of it, it looks more like a bump than a bend....also looks like there is a lot of wear on that rail.http://www.cincysouth.com/public/img_0823a.jpg
