I've had my PM9 for nearly 12 years and I wouldn't part with it for the world. But I've always lusted for an MK9. They're simply hard to come by locally.

A couple of weeks ago I sold my K9 to a Kahr fan. He told me it'd be his fifth Kahr in his collection. He mentioned the other models, including an MK9. I expressed my interest in one and told him to contact me if he ever wanted to part with it. Just received an e-mail that he'll let me have it for $600 with both stock and wood grips. What do you guys think?

It's a good deal. I think you'll miss your K9 though. :)

I sure like mine.........................I would trade out the 7 rd. mag for a 6 rd. OK price. If it's in good condition, I would get it. Actually, my wife shot mine yesterday for the first time. She thought it was a bit snappy, but small firearms usually are. I just traded a member, my 7rd. for a 6 rd. No trouble, just would rather have flush mags. Plus, you get the grips. Get it.

It's a fair price and a great gun to have. I love mine, for sure.

Didn't realize when I originally posted that it has night sites, a Wolff striker spring and of course the Pearce Grip.

The only difference in the photo on my first post and the photo in this post is that in this photo, the pistol belongs to me.

Cool, I was going to ask about night sites, but after thinking about it , it would have been a fair deal with or without.

Good job! You won't regret it. I got mine on my hip right now. :Amflag2:

Just a thought. I found the Pearce grip helpful but a little bigger than necessary so I ground about half of it off. Now it's big enough for "half" a pinky yet barely bigger than the flush magazine. I also like to keep the extended mags for my backup/reloads. One extra round cannot hurt. Just test them to make sure they run right.

Enjoy! :)

I love my mk9. You wont be disappointed. I carry a variety of guns, but when i carry the mk9, i almost forget it is there, it carries so well. With a good holster, the weight isnt a issue.

You'll like it, no question about that. It's my favorite Kahr for sure.
