wanted to introduce myself. I shoot&own a few FNs, and Glocks, but wanted a smaller summer carry then my G26, especially when on the bike. It came down to a G42, PM9, or CW/P380. I chose the G42 as I have always liked my Glocks as a reliable tool and figured familiarity would be beneficial. I was really let down by the G42 and did not want to deal with sending the gun back etc... So graciously, my LGS took it back and I got a Kahr PM9 black diamond w/NS. LGS owner told me not to expect much as he had bad experiences with his. I was pleasantly surprised.

My PM9 has been flawless! I have roughly 200 rounds of FMJ through it and about 100 of various SD rounds. So happy with it, I decided to put it into a nice Silent Thunder holster, which I should have Monday and once I get a few hundred more through it, start using it for my summer CC.

I have been lurking here ever since the Kahrs entered my want list, and decided to join to thank the peeps who posted so much helpful info.

Now trying hard to not buy a P380 or CW380... but I know I will eventually! Hoping it runs like my PM9!

Welcome. I love Virginia. Worked in Richmond traveling the state for UPI in the early 80s, then 20 years in Arlington before retiring.


You WILL be getting the CW380, love mine. Flawless the first time out with WWB and and Precision One.


Them second time out everything you could imagine in three magazines, FTE, FTF, stovepipe, failure to return to battery.


All of that from a box (actually two) of PMC I picked up at a gun show. After all the problems, I looked carefully at the boxes and they were somewhat worn and tattered in places. I think I got a hold of some reloads or something.


Anyway, back to the WWB and Precision One (my carry ammo) and everything is bliss again.


Lots of very knowledgeable folks here like my state-mate WYNTROUT and others. We all love our Kahrs and stick by them thru thick and thin. I will say I have three Kahrs, first one, P9C bought in 01' and never had a single problem until this bad box of PMC ammo.
