I quit carrying parachutes when I discovered that bed sheets and hay string don't make good parachutes. Then again, it might have had more time to open up better and catch more air from a two story roof .... but I ain't trying that again.

You tried it too?....I did it twice, once with an old canvas tarp and pieces of twine....Same outcome, too slow to open...Next time I figured I had the slow opening thing figured out and used my grandpaw's big umbrella....No good either, broke the umbrella and my ankle but at least the cast saved me from getting an ars whoopin.....:o.....It was right after that my Daddy started calling me "New Moon"
