Got one on Thursday from KYGUNCO.COM and prepped it as described in the tech section. I cycled the side about 200 times-the spring is a beast. Left it over night with the slide locked back, hoping the spring will take a set. Took the mag apart and checked it for binding. Lubed the gun according to specs.
Went to the range today, Friday and shot MagTech ball ammo (from A1Ammo.com). This is not the most powerful 380 and while firing the 1st box, on three or four occasions the slide did not strip a round from the mag for the 1st round in the mag and the gun just went 'click'. During that same 50 rounds the slide would only lock back on the last round a few times. During the 2nd and 3rd boxes, no more issues. so i fired 150 rounds in the matter of one hour and it seems to run well. Aside from those two things, which I blame on incredibly tight tolerances, there were no failures to fire or eject. Recoil was very manageable and it was not tiring at all to shoot like the LCP i used to have. It disappears in an IWB holster. Wore it all day and almost forgot I was wearing it. This is not my first Kahr so I knew what to expect during break in. I think it is a keeper. BTW, at 7 yards it was very accurate, showing 2-3" groups during slow fire.
