CM 9 and Williams sights

I got a deal on the Kahr / William's sights. It's my understanding the front sight is easy to swap out but the rear is tough. Based on old posts-_-some just swap the front only and that's what I am thinking of doing.
Suggestions? Is it best to do both even though it seems it requires a trip to the gunsmith?

I used a brass punch on the rear sight. No marks but you do have to hit it pretty good. Only goes in from one side.

I dug it up apparently it is left to right

The sights go in, right-to-left.
They go out, left-to-right.

Left and right are from the perspective of the shooter, with the gun held in shooting position.
