"New Posts" uneven results.

Hi, the "New Posts" on the forum menu doesn't work as it should. Too often I get "No new posts" when I haven't seen but a few of the dozen or so posted.

I kind of have come to expect that as the day changes over from past experience, but it also happens in the middle of the day.

I've noticed that if I am logged-on and my computer is idle for a period of time, the threads which were displayed at the time I walked away from the computer, are marked "as read".

I've resolved this by logging-out after each session, avoiding periods of inactivity.

I wonder if it is the browser being used. I use IE and never have this issue.

I'm having the same problem. Google Chrome is my browser.
