Whether an ammo mistake or else Diamondback guns are JUNK and more dangerous to the shooter than the bad guy.

Looks more like a piggy back to me. Had a squib and fired another behind it. A CJB favorite.

Usually with a squib the slide won't cycle and load the next round into the chamber, but I suppose that anything's possible.

Had a squib once with a 1911 and it did eject and chamber a new round but the gun wouldn't go completely into battery thank God or it would have been a Ka-Boom with my 14 year old firing it....If the bullet had gone just a fraction of an inch further into the barrel the gun and possibly his hand would be in pieces now....I was sure it couldn't have been a squib because we were shooting factory Remington UMC from Walmart....I was wrong and learned a lesson that even factory ammo can cause issues and to ALWAYS check for a barrel obstruction if a round won't fully chamber....
I had to clean out my shorts that night when I found out what the problem with the gun really was....I figure an Angel was watching over us that day...
I'm surprised the guy shooting the DB didn't get hurt worse after looking at that mess...Good thing he was a smoker and had one going in his support hand and was only shooting with one hand when she blew up....In his case cigarettes saved his ars....

In 4 years I've probably put over 200 rounds of +P through my P380... mostly Buffalo Bore and some Underwood GDs.
I do shoot mostly standard FMJ, though.

The DB9 was the most worthless POS I ever owned. It didn't take long for me to get rid of it. My small hands couldn't keep the gun from flexing so much that it wouldn't feed more than a round or two at a time. I sold it to a guy with pretty big mitts, with full disclosure of my problems with the gun. He must be doing ok with it, never heard back from him. I'd rather have Hi-Point or some other "cheap" gun than a DB9. And their forum can kiss my backside too. They way the Mod defends the gun, and blathers on about how well made it is, is too much to stomach, you'd think you were on Glock Talk or something.

Has anyone ever experienced a squib load using +P ammo? I can't say that I have.

I got banned from that board for calling out the moderator as a liar.
