If you could only have one, which would you choose and why???

A. Brand new two tone CM9.

B. Older (Jan. 2006) PM9 with Black Diamond finish.

Both pistols feed, extract and shoot just fine.

PM9. The CM9 will be used soon enough, and then the PM9 is going be worth more. Finish is just cosmetics, not a major difference to me.

PM9 because of the finish, polygonal barrel and sight selection, (dovetailed slide).

Guess I'll be the one to say the cm9 and spend the extra money on ammo to practice with or reloading supplies. I have both and honestly could care less about the finish , the barrels rifling or sights difference. I don't buy to sell so being worth when used more means nothing.

Hands down, the PM9

I've become an all-metal fan, so if you're asking which I would spend money on, the answer is neither. But if someone were going to gift me one or the other, I would take the PM9. Like Pbagley said, the CM9 will be used soon enough, and then the PM9 will be worth more.

PM9, for all the reasons mentioned.

I believe PM9's have lost resale value because of the CM9.

The same price for each? If the same I'd pick the PM. If not, the least expensive of the two.

Another vote for the PM9.

Problem solved. I got a brand new PM9 in today and plan on selling the CM9 and the older PM9 as soon as I'm sure the new PM9 runs right.

The PM doesn't have a valid warranty. So it should be less expensive.

There's been a PM9 and MK9 in my CCW rotation for a few years and I'd have leaned toward the PM9...But a CM9 came home with me recently. I have not shot this CM9 yet (I did fire a few rounds through a friend's) but I have taken it down to the frame. MIM parts aside, the fit and feel of the CM9 rivals the PM...Finish is a SLIGHTLY different story and I don't mind the cardboard box...But if it shoots well a SD range (and I'm sure it will) as the PM, the CM is the way to go, if the price is right. If it shoots well at 25 yds, well what can be said against it?...Assuming (again) that the price(s) is/are in line. I paid $319.00 for my CM, The PM was over $600.00 a few years ago.
