Hi,

I ordered a new PM9. It will be here Wednesday.

So how are the new ones? Any consistent problems? Anything I should be aware of? If anyone would know, it's gotta be you folks. :)

Just break it in according to the forums instructions. I am at 600 rounds and not a hiccup. They are excellent

Just ' bout the action Boss...

Anyone else have a new PM9? If so, how's it running?

Mine is a couple of months old. I've been to the range three times with it. It has about 400 rounds through it. No malfunctions.

Frankly, with any nerw Kahr pistol, I'd be very surprised if you get more than a few shots out of it......

I just put up steel plates in my backyard range and shot another 100 through my new PM9. I have to admit, I smiled
a few times when I hit the 4" plates. Love this little pistol! Oh, no problems, just slingshot it like you mean it, cause if you ride it whatsoever, it may FTF.

My PM 9 is so far been flawless. No problems with it whatsoever.

Besides following the break in instruction on Jocko's sticky, you might want to rack it 500 times and shoot hotter loads for some or most of the break in rounds.

Just my 2 cents.

8,000 + rounds in 3.5 years and the only malfunction was a broken trigger bar at 6,000 rounds.

I don't have a PM but have an MK. WWB and Blazer seemed a bit weak, when I was breaking it in. Used Fiocchi...........seemed a bit stouter. Sorry people, but I didn't read the sticky ahead of time. Owned it before I discovered the forum. I cleaned it, inspected it, oiled it, and shot the snot out of it. Really don't see a need to rack it a zillion times before hand. Shooting it does the trick. Did replace the stock recoil spring with Wolff spring, and guide rod.

Just so you know, the stock spring was a Wolffe spring too.

I've shot all mine without the slide racking too. It can't hurt but it's not mandatory either.
