I tried and tried to use this rear sight. All of my other rear sights are Two-Dot Tritiums so I put Two-Dot Trijicons on my P40 and have adjusted enough to that combination that I'm comfortable with it.
I didn't find my Allen wrench that came with the sights when I first looked, so I used one of my cheapie Chinese screwdriver bits and broke the tip off in one of the set screws. This is the second time that one of those mild steel things has broken off in a sight... another low vee(painted post) by XS that came on my 1911 Springfield.<sigh> Will I ever learn? :rolleyes:
The rear sight was a loose fit in my P40, but with the remaining set screw and some removable Loctite it should stay in place.
Anyhow, I'm offering the rear sight for sale... $30 with shipping included.
If you need any new Kahr 7-round or 8-round extended grip mags($27 each), I can ship a few of those with the rear sight USPS Priority, otherwise the rear sight ships first class in an envelope.
Mags will be $27 each + $5 shipping by USPS Priority shipping per order.
I accept PayPal if you pay the fee and can do credit cards for $1 more per magazine. It costs me 3.5% for manually entered cards and I don't have much markup on the mags.
