My CZ 83 .380 can chamber these rounds. I was curious how my CW380 would do, for $hits and Giggles. I have 50 rounds through the gun with no extra cleaning or lubrication.

Mine fed 100 of them with no issues.

Nice job on the quick little videos, with soundtracks. Looks like you got a winner cw380, but is it locking back yet?

You guys must have gotten one of those defective CW380s that will chamber anything you feed it. Strange and unusual.

My CW380 works with everything except Fiocchi Extrema XTP. The Fiocchi is to long and did not feed in my previous Bodyguard or Taurus tcp. I believe the Fiocchi was made wrong. It even feeds Tula steel and I have always been able to sling shot the gun.

Thanks. Windows 8 is giving me fits, but Movie Maker and I are making friends.

My CW380 doesn't like WWB, which is a bit of a flat-nose. Kind of sporadic with the feed. I've shot; Magtech, PMC, Speer, Herters and Remington FMJ with not a single failure, so I'll stick with those. Also shoots Hornady Critical Defense without a hiccup too.

By the way, I bought some Freedom Munitions for a decent price but...not a good fit for the CW. Apparently it is not a fan of the reman stuff (failure to fire and feed) but, that's OK with me. As long as I know what to avoid and what to stay with, we'll be just fine.

Funny, my CW380 loves Fiocchi Extrema XTP. I wish I could find more because it's reasonably priced and has good reviews and performance specs. I would use it as my defensive ammo if I could find more.

After a few glitches in the initial 100 rounds, my CW380 now runs flawlessly with a variety of ammo, including WWB flat-nose, Federal round nose, Hornady Critical Duty, etc.

Really it should lock back. Could be the follower. Since your wife has a p380, try one of those magazines in it.

I am only 50 rounds down the pipe. I don't doubt that it will lock back as the tight recoil spring loosens up.

I wonder what difference in recoil spring weight there is in the Kahr .380 line from beginning to now. My Wife's P380 springs appeared to be light from the start, and my CW380 appears to be heavier.

My handloads that I have loaded for almost the last 20 years, admittedly are near the bottom of the loading scale of the Speer book for WW231 powder, work fine in my Wife's P380, but struggle to cycle the CW380. This has been a load sufficient to cycle the blowback guns and the seemingly low power recoil spring of the P380. I may have to add a grain or two to get enough umph to properly cycle the CW380. 3.7-3.8gr.
