Or in common sense terms, a good guy exercises his self defense rights without fear of criminal or civil retribution by the state:

According to authorities, at approximately 11:00 a.m., a former employee of the construction site at 1901 Rio Grande Street who was recently let go returned to the site asking to see the foreman. When the foreman arrived, the former employee pulled out a gun. The foreman, who is reported to be a CHL holder, pulled out a gun as well. Both men exchanged fire and hit one another.

It was fairly obvious on which side of the issue the interviewer stood. The legislator handled the questions quite nicely.

Don't worry. By the time the "anti gun" crowd is done it will just be two gun tot'n lunatics shoot'n it out.

I say good for the good guy. And it's proof that concealed carry "works" for the good of society.

Stay Safe

I heard in Texas if you shoot somebody they shoot you back. I admire the concept even though I never been to Texas. I do have the hat though.
