I am finding pocket carry for the CW380 unrealistic, unaccessible, and in the way of my knife.

I bought the gun for use when my carry options are limited. I really do not want to belt carry this little guy. It looks like I will be designing a an ankle rig.

So your try'n to pocket carry while a pocket knife is there too?? Nooooooooo . Move the pocket knife to your weak side or any other pocket or belt location. Only thing in or around that pocket when carry'n a pistol in it is a pocket holster. You do have a pocket holster right. If not -

I can pocket carry my P380 easily using the sticky holster I picked up on a whim for it... but only easily accessible in cargos or loose fitting jeans. If jeans are tight at all the pocket closes up and cannot access pistol. But that sticky holster w/P380 moves to the AIWB and stays there when tighter clothing or a belt is on. As far as my knife it is moved to the "sting" side... I shoot and carry "weak" handed as I am ambidextrous but right eye dominant.

Will a P380 fit into the hip pocket (wallet carry) like a TCP or LCP?

I like pocket holsters. Once it got into my head that the pocket holster and gun stay together all the time, everything became easy and convenient.

No, nothing else in the strong side pocket where the gun is.

I guess it may really come down to what I am doing, as to what method of CW380 carry will be best.
I carry a clip folder knife attached to my strong side pocket everywhere. at work, I have the knife, a rifle and/or shotgun, in my work vehicle, but no side arm.

Off of the clock I carry a concealed handgun or two. I will most likely make several methods to carry the CW380. I wear boots most of the time, so i may make a leather ankle holster that integrates, and will lace up on the top holes of my 8" boots and go around the ankle. That would take care of a lot. It would give me access to the gun while driving. What I have noticed about ankle carry that is problematic, is that outdoor activity gets the gun dirty and gritty, so I would need to make another form of carry should I want the gun as a back up in the desert or the woods.

A cargo pant holster seems like that would be easy to make for when that option is available, too.

I pocket carry every day. It is the easiest, most accessible and convient for me. But, as stated above holsters depend on activities, workplace, clothing worn, sitting, standing social setting, conceability, and so on and so on. IMHO there is no single best holster. I also use IWB, OWB ,pouch holsters at12;00,shoulder holsters both banded and traditional, belly band types, and a jogging/exercise pouch holster that is carried in front above the waist. I have an IWB holster that also carries my cell phone outside on the belt. All see use at one time or another.
