I wanted to spruce up one of my plain jane 96's...............there are literally thousands of choices in wood grips for the ninety series, but I always liked the look of ivory( real or faux) on certain firearms. Not everybody's cup of tea, but I think it looks nice. Got them from Altamont. They have two different sizes, one being the standard grip size, and the other, which I opted for, being the same for the palm swell, but thinner on the rest of the grip. They feel and fit very nice.

They look nice on stainless, tasteful but not flashy. A little too much contrast to my eyes on a blued gun but still nice on some.

Much better than pearl grips.

I agree............a bit too much "teeth white" on a darker firearm. They'll age a bit from handling. Always had something for real ivory grips........stag also.

I'm a total sucker for stag. I love it so much.

Put stag on a gun or on a damascus blade and well it makes my britches stick out in front.

I think they look great on most handguns. They look really nice on an single action Army with the blued finish and color case harden frame.
Like general George S. Patton said...."General is that pearl handles on that revolver? and his response was sir pearl handles on a pistol are for pimps in a Louisiana whore house"

I heard it was a Louisianna river boat gambler but could have been a horror house too I guess.
