Just purchased a KAHR CW380 shot it yesterday, looks like the ejector has a piece broke off the side, it jammed quite a bit, seemed to do better with only three or four rounds in it, may have to use better ammo, Is this common for this weapon, my wife has a hard time racking it, she loves the pistol, but my 9mm baretta is easier for her to use.

It's not common, but it isn't unheard of. Contact Kahr and they'll send you a new extractor. If the gun continues to jamb after replacing the extractor try shortening the rear extractor spring pin by about .020" to reduce the extractor spring tension a bit.

in the sized of the beretta 9 compared to the little 380. Doeswnt surprise me a bit taht6 she is having difficultyt rackng the 380. I dougt if she willgewt much better with it either. It will loosen up some but again not much gun to work with andu just gotta do it right. I had a hell of a time at the beginning but I adapted over time.
The extractor thing is not comon in kahrs , to me this is the first 380 that I have heard that about. Contacxty kahr. attn Jay and state ur case. If it was my 380 and u had it apart already, I would do what Muggsy suggests to. by taking off about .020 off the long rod inthe extractor channel. Ain't gonna help the wifes isse any but will help feeding.

definitely SHOOT ammo, I wold suggest u buy a box of 25 defense ronds to and test a magazine out to see how it works. Some of this fmj , what I call range ammo is not as powerful as the defense stuff and might produce more issues at the git go of break in. If defense ammo works like it should then assume the other ammo is just a tad underpowered but once the gun loosens up, all ammo should do OK..

Well welcome to the forum, my helpful friends forget to mention that, sometimes, as they are eager to help. Me, I have no help to offer you, aside from shoving it up someones back side that sold it or built it, but I'm from Jersey, don't do as I would. You may get hurt.
Jocko help me out, I emailed you.

does kitchen table gun-smithing void their factory warranty, and what if one does not know how to fix a gun? will Kahr take it back to fix on their dime for warranty work?

OP, I recommend sending your gun back for proper repair, this early in the game you should not be paying anything for a clear factory fault.

Ditto this! Use the factory warranty to get your gun fixed. If Kahr should ever suspect you've been home gunsmithing the gun while it's under warranty, they will likely void your warranty.

I thought it was common knowledge that the kahr 380 was not a good choice for the average lady or weakling guys. Heavy slide function is a standard for kahrs in general along with the need of better than average control.

A photo would help to see what ever it is than "broke" just to be sure of works going on, ejector or extractors ! But after 3 days and no reply maybe he sent it back.
