I just got my new quiet toys yesterday, but I've only been able to try the little one out behind the house. I'm going to have to go out to the range to play with the big one.
Little: Innovative Arms Apex 22LR suppressor that works equally well on the Buck Mark and the 10/22. One cool thing is that the Apex and the Tactical Solutions threaded barrel weigh less TOGETHER than the factory Buck Mark barrel.
Big: Innovative Arms Grunt 5.56 suppressor that will get time on my home built AR and on the Tavor.

I highly recommend Tarheel State Firearms for acquiring quiet toys!

What is the wait time on Form 4, these days?

This was e-filed on December 11, 2013 and approved on May 8, 2014 -- so 150 days.

That's about one half the time my local dealer is quoting via traditional filling methods. I'll have to learn more about e-file. Good tip.
Did you register these items as an individual, a trust, or a corporation?

I used a trust to ease the ownership issues when I pass.

that is who I'm dealing with.
Thanks for the info, gentlemen.
A few more questions regarding your recent Form 4 submissions, if I may. Did you submit an original copy of your complete trust document, or did you submit only the "certification of trust" section?
Did you submit fingerprints for each trustee, given the proposed change in ATF regs?
Did you submit a CLEO signature, given the proposed change in ATF regs?
I appreciate your input.

The proposed change (Rule 41P) in the ATF regs hasn't been approved, so it isn't applicable. It's still under review because the ATF must review each of the thousands of comments that were submitted.
So, no fingerprints required and no CLEO signature required on the trust. Since my form 4 was via e-file, the dealer submitted a scanned copy of the entire, notarized trust (including Schedule A) as a .PDF file.
You can ignore my questions, above, gentlemen. I called Scott and he very graciously answered all my questions, even though my purchase was done through another dealer in my own state. I, too, am very impressed with his knowledge and his eagerness to help. Props to Tarheel State Firearms.

I could not believe how easy Scott made it .He e-mailed me a pdf file with a trust form that all you had to do was fill in the blanks on Saturday .I filled it out had it notarized and e-mailed it back to him on Monday . He also emailed me when they cashed the stamp check. I could not have asked for better customer service.

I am on the fence regarding trusts. I have some SBRs that I did without a trust, but the wait times now are so long the trust option and e-file is tempting. But the ATF keeps saying they are going to "close the trust loophole". I would hate to do the paperwork and have no gain from it. Decisions, decisions...

John, if you're going to use a trust you should do it NOW instead of waiting for Rule 41P to be approved and enacted.

you have time. The paper work from Scott takes about 5 minutes to fill out.
