First 150 rounds through the CW9 today with almost zero hiccups. One FTF that I attribute to the 8rd mag not fully seated, tap n' rack and all was well.
And one possible light strike. There was a solid mark on the primer but failed to discharge. After inspection I placed it in an empty mag and gave it another go and it discharged. Was shooting WWB so I'm not sure if it was the ammo or a light strike.
Overall I was extremely pleased with the performance of this little Kahr. All shots stayed inside a pie tin group at 7-10 yards. Love the trigger and I didn't find the texture too aggressive as I've read in some posts although I am probably going to try out that Pachmayr grip when it comes out for the CW series this month.
There's a CW380 at my LGS that has me thinking I could use a pocket gun. . . =]

Well look at that.
Thanks DavidR! Going to swoop one up right now. Nice find!
They still say "available May 2014" on their site and not currently available on their amazon store.

Get cha an old used and free 1.75" inner tube from a bike shop and custom cut a slip on grip aid. Covers more area , cost nothing or less than the factory made ones for a new tube one from wall mart. Works well too. I have several 5years old. Many of us use them.

My 1.75" tube grip cover is starting to slip after 4 years. I still have over half that tube and will make another cover. It really started slipping with some Buffalo Bore and Underwood +P ammo.

That didn't take long... replaced the cover and took some pictures of the old and new covers. They stretched a bit after 4 years and were slipping too much.
Be sure to UNLOAD the pistol and you can use your knees to hold the pistol and have both hands free to seat the cover.
I used the old cover to cut a rough piece and then trimmed the length and made sure I trimmed around the magazine release button on the rear side. I turned the tube inside out and washed the talcum powder off. Don't cut a tube over anything important... talcum powder inside!
Pull part of the cover on and then pull the remainder up on the bottom of that and then work from top to bottom until you get it in place... under 10 minutes, easily.
The price on the tube box was $1.99... Walmart about 15 years ago!

Thanks for the suggestion y'all, I'll probably do this in the interim as I have several old tubes laying around my bike bench waiting to be patched or turned into patches.
But in the end ill end up with a production grip. Maybe I'd prefer the inner tube but I would like to give the Pachmayr or even the cheaper Hogue grip a whirl! For the ~$10 I think its worth a try haha.
