Looking to put a grip on it either Talion or Pachmayr grip was wondering if the Pachmayr will slip under recoil or twist ? Now I know this has been asked before but for a IWB holster what have you used & liked & what did use and dislike and why ? Is there anything else should I get for my pistol ? Is there any modifications I should do to pistol ? Thanks this will be my first Kahr it was recommend by my best friend, and the light weight was nice. Thanks

Lots of ammo for range time! Still looking for a IWB holster for mine. Want to get something to make it easy to carry/hide as soon as I get my CCL. Need to get off my butt and sign up for that already. Trying to get my wife to sign up for the class as well even though I know she will likely never carry.

I use a Foxx for my CW9 and love it, very comfortable and the price was right.

Spare mags? I bought a back up 6 rounder, and an 8 round for my CM9. Shooting much with only the one supplied magazine was pretty time consuming...

Remora holster for IWB. I've got the proverbial box o' holsters and I always circle back to the Remora. Good folks to deal with and the price is right, also.

Grip liner?? If you have to buy new get this - http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200478244_200478244
Or stop by a bike sho and get a used one free. Not as pretty but they cover more grip area and work real well.

I personally really like Talon rubber grips on my P9. Wish they made a full length version for my TP9. I found the bike tube solution and other slip on grips to be too rubbery and grabby on untucked shirts. The Talon rubber is not tacky at all. Love 'em.
As mentioned above, Remora on the holster when it comes to my Kahrs. I carry both the TP9 and P9 in a Remora 100% of the time. Even for 3x the price, Remora cannot be beaten if you ask me. I used to even carry a Sig P250C in a Remora and it worked just fine.
I keep saying my aging astigmatism eyes need XS Big Dots on my Kahrs. But at the distances I shoot them, I find the stock sites still pretty adequate. I think before the next 10 years pass, I'll go XS Big Dot. So maybe a sight upgrade if you aren't particularly enamored w/ the stock sights.
Extra mags. Lots and lots of ammo.
Hope that helps. Happy shooting.

Good idea! It'd be good for your wife to have a permit either way. Never know when she may drive the car or carry a bag w/ a firearm in it. Depending on your state's laws, might be an issue in the very unlikely event that she had one concealed in the vicinity and you were not present.

Good that we have choices ! I am one that hates remora holsters. That brand would be a last choice for me. Talons are ok and do look better but after 5 years of tucked and un-tucked shirts, button down or t-shirts I never had an issue with the inner tubes tackiness being a problem. So its another chance to buy what YOU like and not pay much attention to what we like cause if its made someone likes the heck out of it.

I'm not a big fan of slip on grips for that reason. They can slip and twist. I had a slip on grip on my CM9 that would slip upward to the point that it interfered with the mag release. I went to a stick on grip that hasn't given me any problems. You might consider installing a Wolff 5# striker spring to reduce trigger pull weight. The best thing you can do to improve the performance of your Kahr pistol is to shoot it. The more you shoot it the better it and you get. Keep it clean and lubed. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

2 mags and patience...
When I got my CW9 it had 2 extra mags (personal sale) and I am glad it did. saves time and effort at the range.
By the way, I had a bit of trouble pulling the slide at first but now am doing fine. Either the spring lightened a little or I just got used to it! ?
