Today I was at the range and shot 50 Hornaday CD and 50 Federal Hydra-Shok. I had zero malfunctions with the CD and just 1 FTF with the HS when hitting the slide release on a fresh magazine.
I now have 450 rounds through my CW380. I am overall extremely pleased with my pistol. It actually shoots much softer compared to my CM9.
I did notice that I have a slight clicking in the trigger in the first 1/4" of travel. I am not sure if I had this originally and missed it or this is something new. Does anyone know if this is normal and if not should I be concerned about this and is it fixable? Thanks!

Mine clicks as well. I have not tried my Wife's P380 to see if it does the same of what causes it. Glad to hear you like the gun. I have 160rds through mine, and I dig it.

My CW9 has the same click too, hasn't concerned me really. Curious if they all have it.

My cw380 trigger is perfectly smooth. Same with my cw9. However, my cm9 has never been totally smooth and makes a slight click at about one third of the travel. It has always bugged me but it is ok. Just not as nice as the other two. No lube has helped.

I have been seeing this as an issue for various Kahr pistols across the board here and there. I guess I'm in the unlucky pile.
My CM9 doesn't have this issue fortunately. The CW380 is awesome otherwise; so I'll just learn to live with it.

Can't say that either of mine (CM9, CW380) have any click at all - both perfectly smooth. They are the two smoothest shooting guns I've ever shot. Pretty much flawless, too.
I've been lucky, I know, but have not had any issues with these guns and I am extremely comfortable carrying either one - on a daily basis.

I do love both of my cheapie Kahrs even with the slight hiccups! I really wanted the all black models that were a step up in price; but I was able to get two Kahr's for just about the same price as one black PM9.

Me thinks that the click could be that crazy little spring sliding on the trigger bar:confused: May be a small burr on the tbar:confused:

You are right! The click if from the spring where the side plate is located. The end of the spring rides on the trigger bar and as the trigger is pulled, the spring end through friction rides the trigger bar forward, and then let's off creating that annoying click. You can watch it happen if you take your slide off. You could polish or even lubricate the issue away, I bet.

Thanks for the ideas. I haven't cleaned it since I went to the range. When I take it apart this weekend I'll see if I can visually see anything and maybe do some a slight polish or deburr in those areas.
