White Dot??

The white dot on the rear sight of my P380 is missing. What is the best material to use to replace it after degreasing?

finger nail polish, or automotive touch up paint, color of your choice. only my opinion.

Appliance chip repair paint applied with a toothpick. Seems to stick better than regular paint.

I just looked at my CW9 and I also have no white mark on my rear sight. And I was shooting this past weekend. How the f... heck did I miss THAT? Guess I'll be looking for an enamel paint or marker.

It's holding up well..I don't remember the last time I had to re-paint my P3AT front post.

Not sure it could be any worse than the original was on mine which didn't hold up... pretty sure there is an indention in the metal where the paint is actually supposed to go and on one Kahr or another that I have the paint aint inside the indention..

The paint pen worked fine until the tip came out and the paint went all over the slide. I had followed the instructions to push the tip into the body but it still came out.:eek:

I think I'll use the toothpick and Testors or appliance repair in the future!!

Sorry to hear that...never had that issue.

I was able to clean it up in about 10 minutes or so using a xylene based cleaner. It worked great at first. It was on the third gun that it failed. No big deal; just $1.95 lost.
