Cant Only Load 5 In 6 Round CM9 Mag

Man for the life of me I cannot load more than 5 rounds in one of my CM9 mags. I mean its like the mag has a steel block in the last slot stopping 6 ronuds from going in. I left it loaded with 5 in the mag for like a year now hoping that will loosen it up. No luck. Still the same thing. Any ideas?

Have you taken the magazine apart and looked inside? Maybe there is some junk or something in there. Take the spring out and see how many go in without the spring.

After you do the above then but some kind of mag loading helper. I use a Uplula loader on all my centerfire mags. Gives you that little extra on new tight mags.

Good advice there....I might add also check the orientation of the spring to the follower while you have the mag apart.

That would surely do it for sure. I'd wager that's the issue right there. The mag springs in backwards.

Thanks guys took the mag apart. IT was crazy easy.
One of you should have warned me about the spring it hit me right between the eyes, lol. Guess it could have been worse. 2nd time it slipped between my fingers hit me in the nose.
Anyhow I took it apart and put it back together now I can load 6. Not sure what was wrong. Thanks a bunch.

Well if the spring hit ya between the eyes you probably couldn't tell that it was in backwards. Almost has to be what it was.

No matter, it was wrong and now it's right, that's what it's all about.
