Painting slide question..???

I've got my CW9 torn down for Aluminum oxide blast then paint. My question/concern is the firing pin and ejector areas.. So basically the whole rear interior area of the slide. I was thinking I should tape these areas off as to not chance taking areas out of tolerance. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks fellas!

If you're using Cerakote there's no need to worry about tolerances. The coating is very thin. It wouldn't hurt a thing if you taped those areas off.
