How do you guys carry your back up mag/mags just throw it in your pocket or in a custom or homemade mag pouch

I just finally got around to getting a pouch. I was carrying them loose before (but you run the risk of losing the top round or getting lint and stuff in there so the pouch is better IMO).

I'm looking for something to carry a couple of speed strips in if anyone has any good ideas. Thanks!

Check out the Redhead knife pouches at BassPro. I have all three sizes. They are nice and inexpensive. It looks like you are carrying a pocketknife. The largest size fits the mags for my P45, the midsize my PM9 mags and the small fits most .380 mags. You might have to put something in the bottom to boost the mag up depending on the length of the magazine. These work great.

whats a wallabies, any relation to a wannabee?? Just sayin. I see ur stateis gonna vote in at seattle a 15$ an hour minimu wage, good buy McDonalds double cheese burger for a buck in ur state.ow those illegals in ur state willhave so much more money to buy drugs, it is a win win situation IMO. Good for seattle, I vote YES on the city council vote. Just sayin

My vote would be to make a giant 100 foot saw blade and ship it out west and start at the washinton, canadian border and cut all the way down to Mesico, and let both states fall in the ocean, fokking liberals over there suck....:amflag:

This is what I use. I've bought complete sets for all of my Kahrs, XD45, and all of my Glocks... usually duplicates of each and in 1 1/2" AND 2" belt size for the XD45 and the Glocks.

He takes Paypal and his prices include USPS Priority Mail... or he did. His prices are really cheap and he's fast in filling orders.

For pocket carry, I've cut the clip off a single mag holder and used a torch to smooth the edge... quickly.

Here's a post I made about the ones for Kahrs and altering for pocket carry:

Thanks to our very own Beardog, I have three single pouches and one double. The singles are for a Kahr 9, a S&W Shield 9 and a Glock 9. The double, which is the most often carried, is for a Kahr 9. Good quality stuff.

I use several different kinds of kydex or nylon double mag pouches. I carry them in my offside cargo pocket.

I'm old and need to carry lots'a stuff, so all of my pants have cargo pockets :D

Whatever you use should allow you to quickly grab and free the magazine with your weak hand. When you need more ammo, you need it quickly... and you need to practice changing magazines... developing "muscle memory" to help overcome the adrenalin rush, tunnel vision, and loss of fine motor skills in fight or flight encounters.

I don't have any "fine motor skills" left to lose, 'specally on my "weak" side

Therefore I have over developed my "gross motor skills" :D And if I'm really scared, I can change a mag "faster than a speeding bullet"

Just say'n

The beauty of the BassPro RedHead case is that on a hot day you can wear a shirt tucked with this on your belt and a PM9 in your pants pocket and no one would notice.
