Too many hours watching unrealistic TV shows make weak minds like his think that they are invincible and somehow deserving respect because they have a gun. That is a typical Wanksta, a wanker (look it up in the urban slang dictionary) that tries to pull off the Ganster thing.
They think they are some really tough guys, until they meet the real thing, and run away like little girls.
I don't see the allure of trying to imitate something they will never be, minority kids growing up in the inner cities, that join gangs to have some type of male figure in their life and something they can call "family", and for mutual protection from other gangs. These suburban wankstas will never know what that life is like, and I guess they think it's cool to grow up in a neighborhood where you have a slim chance of ever reaching 25 without being shot or doing time. They get caught up in the Rap music, that glorifies this lifestyle, and think they can fit into it by wearing their hat sideways, and their pants around their thighs and trying to imitate the minority slang and way they talk. Makes me want to slap them upside their heads. I imagine a lot of the real gang members, would trade lives with this kid in a minute. To have a nice safe suburban home to come home to, with a loving family.
