Barth, that pistol is slightly larger and heavier than my HK45C, which I think is too large for a 10 +1 round 9mm. I'll take the 8 + 1 45 ACP any day. A plus is that the HK45C is hammer fired and can be carried cocked and locked.

It's 15+1 without the neutered mags.
I prefer hammer fired myself and 45 ACP for that matter.
But IMHO, for striker fired folks, this is an option.

Full Disclosure:
My P30 40 Light LEM with USP Match HS/NPFSS isn't going anywhere...
The P30 40 S&W is 13 + 1 BTW.

I struggle with HK45C 8+1 vs HK P30 40 S&W 13+1.
I own both.
My solution is HK USP Tactical 45 ACP 12+1 Match LEM Hybrid.

Now that I'm into Tupperware I can say that that is a very nice gun in 15+1. But what's up with the Glocky trigger? I'll NEVER do that. Did I just say never?

I'm not really interested in striker guns.
But my MK40 Elite is a striker...
So I can't say never ever.

But my MK40 Elite 03 is all stainless.

I got to play with a USP 40 the other day.

It felt nice, but.... ya know, if I wanted to carry a pistol that size, I'd probably just carry one of my Colt .45 Autos.

On the other hand, I'm very satisfied with a PM-45 or PM-9J

Very hard to beat for concealed carry - in my way of thinking at least.

Great timing! :hurt:

I just bought a Walther PPQ. If I knew these were due soon I'd have waited. Sounds very similar to the Walther, but my experience has been that HK, simply put, builds a better gun.

Looks like HK is ready to aggressively pursue the LE market.

That's why my FS USP 40 is my home defense weapon. It's too big to carry, but with 14 round mags and excellent night sights, it's a natural for that role.

I usually carry my CW45, [my lightest 45] but alternate with a S&W CS45, Mk40, or a Kimber UC II or Detonics Combat Master 1911. If I have to go small it's a PM9 or LCP on the ankle or in a pocket.
