...(no smoking hotties to see here.....move along...:)

Well I just got back from a short 3 day jaunt to the Big Apple
for a family reunion and memorial service for my dad that passed
away earlier this year.

Since it was such a short trip we decided to not check any baggage
and we only had 2 of our 3 kids with us. (Number One son is off on his
first youth missions trip).

I really felt absolutely naked and once again the anger flared
up for a moment over the absurdity of flying into New York city
and not even having a freaking Spyderco on me let alone
a firearm. Good to be back home in Florida....where the BG's
tread lightly.....cuz they never really know which of us is part of
the 750k strong CCW holders:)

Michael-

Sorry to hear about your dad, that's certainly one of the tougher things we do in life. I put mine away about 6 years ago.

I'm glad you got out of NY alive. Your certainly more man than me. I wouldn't go there with my Thompson at port arms and a 45 on each hip. Not enough ammo for me to go there.
Breath easy, your back in safer grounds.

I made a trip to Valley Stream some years back, I was walking around with my hand on my Springfield 1911 the whole time. We drove though. Glad you made it ok, and my condolences for your dad.
