I'm using 2 mags with broken followers.

Today I put 50 rounds of Georgia Arms 124gr NATO, 10 rounds of 147gr Federal HST and 40 rounds of 115gr Winchester "Target" FMJ, through the CM9 without any problems.

I am at 300 rounds through the CM9 with no problems other than the followers being broke.

I did have an instance on my first time out with the gun where the slide didn't lock back on the last round but I think now that it was because my thumb was pressing down on the slide stop.

Might need a rampectomy. Mine has not broken a follower since I sent her in, and, she's been flawless.

...then replace the broken follower and, if it breaks again -- same mag, don't use that mag anymore. JMO. :o If any of the others break (sounds like that won't happen), you probably need the rampectomy. :)

How did you clean the gun after it fell in the mud?

I dropped a gun in the sand and ended up using our sonic cleaner to get rid of all the sand.

Seems to be posts here every day about broken followers and yet the Kahr lovers claim it's no big deal to have to send your brand new gun in for service.

I've yet to see any gun other than a Kahr break followers. I currently own a CM9 and want to like Kahrs but until they either 1) fix their QC, 2)fix their magazines or 3) fix both their QC and magazines I do not see myself purchasing another.

The irony in my case is that they broke the follower at the factory test firing the gun.

You'd think they could add one more item to their check list after firing the gun "Check Follower for breakage"

But NOOOOOOOoooooooo.
