Fist #5 Kydex or Leather?

After reviewing all of the posts on pocket holsters available for my new PM9, I have decided to try a Fist #5.

For those who have one or played with one, did you like leather or kydex better and why?

Leather always. For me feel is part of it but security and quality are trumping issues. I have seen too many plastic holsters destroyed by a determined attacker. Correctly constructed leather holsters ARE superior to plastic.

I have and use the leather FIST #5. Excellent service and an excellent holster.

I have the kydex and find it to be very nice

I've had a kydex only #5 and a kydex covered in ultrasuede #5 for my PM9. I kept the one with ultrasuede and sold the other. The ultrasuede helps it stay in my pocket and doesn't add much if any to the thickness. It's my main PM9 pocket holster. Haven't tried a leather K5 though. Also, I don't think FIST offers the ultrasuede option anymore.

how does the supertuck work for you with the p220?
i have one also. thinking about that holster.
do you need to go up one size in pants?

I have a FIST Kydex #5. Very comfortable. No problem holding its shape. Extremely light.

I have the Kydex K5. I got it primarily for the thinness. Then I sold the K40 it was originally ordered for and bought a PM45. The holster fits the new gun, I don't know as the leather would have. It allows me to pocket carry a PM45, I haven't found another holster that works as effectively.
