Tragic loss of a MD trooper

Ironic that only a couple of days after some folks were complaining about an off-duty Maryland police officer defending himself against a bad guy in his own home (http://wjz.com/local/Off.Duty.Officer.2.1732442.html[/URL]) that today we've had a bad guy shoot and kill an off-duty Maryland police officer:

Sad day for Maryland and for the Maryland State Police.

I hope they catch the dirtbag that killed this guy. He doesn't deserve to live. The officer certainly seemed to be an inspiration to others.
