Recently picked up a gently used CM-9. Went shooting this morning with my son. This is a nice shooting piece. Shot both 148grn HP and 124grn HP. Not a single hiccup. Trigger took a little getting used to with the long pull, as I am used to my 1911's with the really short 4# triggers.

But all in all very happy with my purchase. This is a replacement for a Rohrbaugh R9 which was just way to small for my hands. This will no go in my rotation for EDC when a 1911 is not practical. It will also be one of my HD hideout guns in the house.

These have to be one of the best bargains for a small SD weapon. :):)

PM/CM pistols are the best CCW out there IMO...congrats!
I don't subscribe to the hideout gun thing...because a Kahr is always with me :)

Yup, a great bargain. If you're a Colt .45 Auto shooter, it does take getting used to, new muscle memory. Eventually you'll do really well - with practice.

The CM-9 has been one of the more trouble free Kahr releases.

Great choice. I carry my CW45 on the belt, but my CM9 is so convenient I pocket carry all the time, even indoors. I suspect there could be times when I could not get to a hide-out house gun fast enough.

I agree that is why there are multiple hideout guns in the house.
