We all should be ashamed that this happens right here in the US :target:

As long as shoplifting is essentially a 'no-risk' activity (note the manager wasn't allowed to apprehend anyone), there's no stopping it. All the turnstiles and theft detection in the world won't stop someone unafraid of being caught.
The large numbers are fairly scary, too; note the two (or three?) males not carrying bags; one assumes they are 'escorts', and prepared to resist.

IMO, we have nothing to be ashamed of, we had nothing to do with this happening. If you were able to interrogate this gang, I'll bet you would come up with minorities on government subsidies provided from our tax dollars. We are the most generous nation on the face of this earth but we are also becoming a nation of entitlement misfits. I wouldn't blame the store if they pulled out leaving another empty store front in this neighborhood.
Chicago, a lot of liberals live there don't they?

Its always the same people because nothing happens to them when they do it. And we have a lot more to be ashamed of in the U.S.than looting and shoplifting in obummerland.

It's not, it is the NEW AMERICA :amflag: coming to a store/mall near you soon.
This is what our current government schools are all working for. Everybody deserves free stuff and should not have to work for it!:19:
Basicly on this countries current track we are all screwed.....:4:

+1 After being bored for a year after retirement, I took a job at a nearby big box retailer to keep busy and have some extra change. We are forbidden from any physical contact or attempt to stop a thief under threat of immediate dismissal (and no unemployment since it would be "for cause"). Best we can do is hope the security cameras got a good view and get their car license plate number. There are people that literally make their living robbing from and/or filing lawsuits against retail stores. Lots of lawyers and judges support them, too.

I worked in retail sales for 30 years and I learned how to spot a shoplifter before they ever got into the store. They park where they can get away quick and easy then enter the store with a giant purse that would hold a weeks worth of clothes. They usually travel in groups and split up right after entering the store. If 1 on them gets stopped that makes it all the easier for the others to fill their purses. We need to jail these POS's for 10 years and it would soon stop or at least slow down.

When the money runs out and the Free Sheet pipeline runs dry, we can expect this in a scale you can't imagine!

Only for a very short time until the business owners/property owners get tired and start blasting. The riots in LA were stopped by business owners that were armed and shot every turd they saw.

I'd like to see some remote locks on the door and when the security guy sees them heading for the door, locked they go. Have inner doors and outer ones, lock them both till the cops arrive.
I live in a small town and this was happening at walmart. People from the city were coming late evenings and taking tv's, baskets full of laundry detergent, all kinds of stuff.
Id like to be buying a baseball bat when one of them starts that. Hit them behind the knees and knock their feet right out from under them.

I love you man. I live by the golden rule, an eye for a TV, and eye for a box of soap, you can have the bat for free.

I guess the peace loving blacks will clean up their house when the peace loving muslims clean up theirs.
And it's not me that puts them is separate houses, they all segregate themselves pretty well.

You guys have got this all wrong. The noble Nubian has been ripped off by these white store owners for years. Have you seen what they charge for a pair of Air Jordans. This is just the black man leveling the playing field. It's a part of Obama's redistribution of wealth plan. These people are helping to fundamentally change America. You need to get with the program. Isn't that right, David S?

Nah, you got it wrong. It is not part of his redistribution plan, it is the result of his redistribution plan among other things.

That stuff just hacks me off. I have to pay more for bread and milk because somebody rips off a TV.
Next town over they followed a guy through walmart. After he paid for the dipers for his kid they followed him to his truck, took his keys, shot him dead in the parking lot and headed for the city in his truck.
Next day they found the truck and the shooters were loading it to go to Texas. Do they really need a long trial for that?

I thought about deleting that last line Bawanna, but it was such a little jab. I really like DavidS or I wouldn't be trying to straighten him out. Peace, brother.

I thought if crime was planned with more than a few people it could be considered "organized crime" with much higher penalties. What is it the RICO act or something?
Remember the Rodney King riots? Business owners went up to the roofs of their buildings with rifles.

In my younger days, I worked plain clothes security for a couple major retailers. These crooks have rights, and if you don't follow them to a tee, they go free. Still have a barrel burn mark scar behind my ear, where a firearm was strategically placed while trying to apprehend some useless pieces of society...........yes, the barrel was hot, so they must have just fired it somewhere...............I wasn't allowed a firearm..........got lucky, learned a valuable lesson, and NEVER made the mistake I made again. Some of these fools had over 150 prior arrests for the same thing. They go to jail, they get 3 free meals, and a cot for 30 days, and they are back on the streets. Just in my area, 11 million dollars a year was stolen. People wonder why prices are so high. It's cheaper for a business to write off losses instead of trying to stop this stuff. When arrested, just like other crimes, they need to be put away for a long time, and I will be happy to pay more taxes to keep them there.
