I did something similar with mine last week before seeing this video. My follower was sticking and failing to feed but has run flawless ever since I stretched the spring.

Mine came with the new design, but the difference is interesting. My SN begins with RH.

You have the CW380 and not the P380?

OK. It looks like the CW380 may come with the revised magazine.
Has anyone bought a new P380 recently and are the magazines still the old design or the new design?

I thought they'd have redesigned it to fit an additional round in there.

How does this new design help?
One of the things we are told to do is make sure the mag follower will slide freely in the mag tube to avoid problems. This new design does not allow the follower to move freely at all. It will stick to the mag tube because of the pressure of the spring and plunger.
I don't know but it looks like the new design may cause more problems.

Out with the new and in with the old. That's my motto. You can purchase a heavier mag spring from Wolff.

All I know is my CW380 actually spits empty mags out vs just dropping them a few centimeters when releasing. My old PM9 still doesn't drop mags to my liking but I've gotten so used to it that I just know to yank it out.

Thanks. Good to know. I wonder if a new style follower can be purchased to try in an old P380 mag to see if it improves the empty mag extraction from the frame? It's worth a try.
