For us derelict geezers who feel the need to be armed, the larger tritium sights seem to be a help. At least, they are for tri-focal wearing me.
Is installing Ashley Express front and rear sights on the CM/PM models a major pain in the wallet?...who has had this work done?...and whatever information that you'd care to share sould be appreciated.
Thanks,
salty

The last I heard XS has "Big Dot Express sights" for CM/CW, 9/40/45 Kahr pistols that do not require milling of the slide. However, these sights are not listed on the website so you need to contact them directly about it:

I put the XS sights on my PM45. If I was and I like them very much.
If I was doing a CM I might be tempted to just install the front big dot (actually the standard dot shows up nice too) and see how the gun shoots with the stock rear sight. I haven't measured one of course but they appear similar in height.
The front is pretty easy, the rear can be a very tight little bugger to get off.
I do like the shallow v they have on the rear myself but I'm thinking the stock rear might work as well.

That's what I was going to do on my CM45, till I found out XS won't sell the screw on C series front Big Dot sight to you for self installation!!!
Seems completely silly IMO to make a screw-on FS, so that no machining of a dove tail has to be done, then turn around and only offer them as a XS factory install item, thus adding installation and shipping fees... They can keep them!
Somehow I figured out how to put a little loctite on a screw, and turn it, to install my front Trijicon NS on my CW/CM 9mm's.

That is strange isn't it? For sights you only have to send the slide so the shipping isn't huge but still it can't be rocket science to install a screw on sight.
