Hi. I love gadgets and recently acquired an Ultra-Gauge that plugs into the OBD connection in my vehicle. I couldn't get any more gauges or trip computer on my GMC Savana and I wanted more information.
I had been running this in my cell phone mount on the middle of the dash, but wanted it closer to the instrument panel. I just mounted it and checked that it doesn't block any warning light or instruments.
I'm not selling these or anything, just thought someone else might find it of interest.

This gauge is plenty bright, which is adjustable, and it turns on and off with the engine.

That's pretty cool Wynn, does it tell you how far it is to the next place you can stop and take a squirt???....:D

Very cool, I'll have to see if my car is compatible. Great price, too.

Who has time to look at guages? I'm too busy texting while driving to look at some silly gauges.

My GPS or cellphone can help with that... rest areas or gas stations. The app GasBuddy can help. :D

I might look into one myself. My van had a Wyntrout moment too and is in getting a new transmission today.
Being deaf I couldn't tell that my 3rd and overdrive were gone. Been acting up. Last week I've had to try and stay under 30. Lucky I didn't scatter the motor.
I'm having them install an old tach that's been in my tool box for 30 years. At least I'll have a visual reference that the engine is going round and round.
3200 bucks I didn't have. The game of life.

I'm still trying to get over the $5,500 mine cost, after 10% off for military discount. That and the late Christmas travel and our visit to the Biloxi casinos and then my granddaughter's first birthday put us in the hole... definitely in the red for a while. I won't mention the large wine inventories... 'cause those disappeared, too. Total Wine sent me 20% off coupons and I bought a few more cases to tide me over until we get solvent financially... then major bathroom repairs! :(
I have over $4,500 in nearly 200 magazines that I need to sell at the gun show. All of our savings are tied up in inventory now!

Oh sure, kick me when I'm down. I'm waiting on a insurance adjuster for Monday. Broke a supply line under the house. Bathroom it totaled along with half the dining room and one sons room. Floor all soaked and warped.
Hoping they pay, if not it won't get fixed for a long time. I got the leak stopped at least so hopefully the drying process begins. Outfit sent out by insurance estimated 5 to 8000 to repair.

I love it. I think I'm gonna add a passenger eject button. Love the flaps gauge.

In my last two photos you can see my remote display for my Valentine One Radar Detector. It's just on the top of the steering column just below the below 100 on the speedometer. It's fully illuminated in the test startup picture. That has saved me from countless tickets. I got the remote display to keep all of the bright lights low and not "help" the people behind me when it alerts.

That one ups me. Wife's car got hammered in our last hailstorm a couple/three days ago. Had it parked outside for maybe the third or fourth time in it's life because of a shelving delivery stashed in her side of the garage for a day or two. :7:
At least it wasn't my car.

Well I just ordered one of these things. Didn't really need to spend the loot but it just might save a blown up engine which is probably a very good thing.

My gauge beeps... alarms when I punch the accelerator and get 'briskly" under way. I'm not sure if that RPM alarm could be set differently.
I saw an intake temperature alarm... or something like that... the other day.
I like all of the things that you can set to display and the different pages you can set up. I've only set two pages up so far... one for me and one for when Wifey's driving so that I can see the speed from the passenger side without having to lean towards the speedometer. I have the instantaneous readouts for MPG and GPH as well as the average for both readings. That might come in handy on a trip when setting the cruise control, but I'll probably still go as fast as I think I can get away with... screw the MPG.
I got a FlowScan when I got my boat and used it to set the throttle and get the best GPH vs. cruise speed. A few MPH less could save a few gallons per hour when you know the difference.

I'm already having second thoughts. Unlike you I don't care much for technology and I hate beeps. Wife has a GPS which I finally figured out how to shut the violet up so I could just see the screen. It was like two wives in the car at the same time. Get the urge to just open the door on the freeway and jump out ya know.
All I want is the tach reall. I got oil pressure and water temp gauges so hopefully everything else will stay dormant so it don't get tossed out the window.

You can probably turn off the beeps. I filled up my tank with gas cans the other day so I could get fresh gas for my generator for hurricane season. I have 6 of those 5-gallon cans. I thought 10 gallons would do it, but I put two whole 5-gallon cans and parts of several others until the gas level was about to overflow. I then set the tank level at 31 gallons, but I'm sure that the tank holds more than that, being polypropylene and "stretchy". I can run my tank down to empty and the warning light comes on... with a beep... but then I only can add about 27 gallons or so until the pump shuts off. I want to see how this gauge keeps up with the fuel level. It's amazing all of the gauge readouts that you can have or check with this thing. I used to nearly run out of gas a lot in our Ford Aerostar vans when traveling because I would wait too long or go too far looking for a better gas price. Now I have GasBuddy on my smartphone. I've been putting low-priced stations and rest areas in my GPS for years for future use.
One time I really waited too long and the van was sputtering and quitting. I had to sway it side to side to get some gas to the pickup level... that and coast some. I just barely got to a station as the engine quit in that instance. Wifey wasn't happy!
I know now that my 2005 Savana still has almost 4 gallons at "empty" with the fuel light on... 50 miles or so... maybe... to go. :D

I hear ya bawann, I absolutely hate all the digital beeps, noises, ding dongs and obnoxious cell phone rings some idiots have which is just noise pollution in todays digital world...When I open my front door a loud voice says FRONT DOOR OPEN like I didn't already know that and even my frickin refrigerator has a digital voice that says "Door Open beep beep beep Door Open" if you stand there too long looking for something.....
One of the few things I like about being near deaf is that my 12 year old Chevy Pickup still sounds like a brand new one, quiet as can be...My son will say dad what's that squealing noise and I just smile and say what noise, I don't hear a thing?.....:biggrin1:

Boy I know about that hearing thing. Even on my riding lawnmower back when the muffler fell off, I just turn off the hearing aid and it's like one of them Lincoln Continental commercials. Not a sound. Put a new muffler on and even with the hearing aid on it's still a luxury mower for sure.
My son does the same thing, some of them squealing noises can be important. I tell him it sounds fine to me, your the mechanic, you tell me. Loudly please.
He don't hardly talk to me anymore. No patience for the hearing impaired and wife isn't far behind. I think she's ready to show me the door and I'm ok with that.
During my house water leak he said he's heard it spraying for quite awhile. I inquired if he didn't think that might be a noteworthy event worth sharing with me so I could get it fixed. He just shrugged.
Got an 8,000 dollar estimate to fix and insurance said no pay, too old of damage. I luv insurance.
