P380 Night Sights?

OK, I've checked Trijicon, Meprolight, Ameriglo, Kahr Store and XS Sights. XS Sights Big Dot and Regular Dot are the only night sights I've found. No one lists any other night sight sets for the P380. I know there are other night sights out there but I can't find them. Any suggestions?

Dawson Precision.

I had them make me a fiber optic front with plain black rear that works great. They list a tritium night sight version, but can make anything you want.

One caveat, removing the factory installed front and rear sights require (at least for me) a good sight pusher.

Thanks flyfishdave. It'a begining to appear that the XS Sights Big Dot and Regular Dot may be the only night sights readily available for the P380 other than custom sights.

Does anyone know of commercially ready-made night sight sets for the P380?

Edit: I have found a Trijicon P380 set on the Kahr site.

The Dawson sights are definitely worth the wait. While they quote 2-3 weeks, sometimes you get the order faster. They have excellent customer service and stand behind their product. Give them a call and they may surprise you.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the XS big dot system and the ambiguous rear sight. Same with tritium...I used to only spec tritium on all my platforms but have switched to plain black rears and a painted (red) front sight or a fiber optic. Unless you find yourself in a cave 100' below sea level, there will always be enough ambient light to cover your target with the muzzle/slide profile to make close contact hits.....the P380 is not a bianchi cup gun. Green dots or a combination of green/yellow, etc will only distract you under stress.

In the rare instance I think about the sights, I just look for the red fiber optic. Otherwise, it's just snap shooting at center of mass.

Not all fiber optic fronts are the same. The dawson has a counter-sunk fiber so you don't get a blow out bloom of light.

When available for my platforms, I use 10-8 rear plain U-notch sights - but all my fronts are Dawson plain and fiber optics.

Looks good. Another option that matches the sights on my Springfield XD-S. A good idea to have similar sights on different guns.

Yup. the XD-s has a perfectly serviceable OEM front fiber optic sight. I didn't like the 'white' dots on the rear so I painted them black.

I like the sight picture with your sights. What is the width of your rear sight abd how did you order it? The same .180" high sight for the fiber optic?

Due to the focal length/zoom setting and lens to sight distance, the sight picture in the photos is not what I see when hold the P380 out at arms length.

My front and rear sights are both 0.125" wide; I quickly place the glowing red dot b/t the rears for a quick sight picture, or center the front b/t the rears with a thin amount of daylight flanking the front blade for an 'aimed' sight picture.

If you want a sight picture closer to what the picture shows, you may want to go with their 0.100" wide/0.180" tall front. Alternatively, you can ask them to widen the rear notch. If you have another sub compact gun with a similar sight radius with a sight picture you like, take some measurements to get a rough idea of the front vs. rear difference.

Their P380 tritium rear is a stock item and you can order it off the website. I wanted a plain rear which is not currently a stock item so it was technically a 'custom' order so I paid $10 more over their other plain black rear sight price.

Call them up and they will square you away.

Very happy with the XS Big Dots. Quickest for my old eyes to see. I have them on all my carry pistols.
